Where do these rates come from?
Rates are the European Central Bank's euro foreign exchange reference rates, which are published once each working day (around 16:00 CET) and supplied here through the free Frankfurter service. Conversions between two non-euro currencies are calculated through the euro.
Why is my bank's rate different?
These are mid-market reference rates. Banks, card networks and money-transfer services usually add a margin or fee on top, so the amount you actually receive or pay will typically differ. Always check the final rate and charges with your provider before you transfer money.
